Aaron Wood Creative is a sole proprietorship based in Quebec, Canada. This policy covers this website and the two Etsy shops it operates, TheYardFlock and FrameFormPress, along with the tools used to publish and schedule their social posts.
We do not collect personal information from visitors to this site beyond what you choose to send us, we do not sell or share anything with anybody, and the software we run against Pinterest touches only our own accounts.
If you email us or use a contact form, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We keep it so we can reply and so we have a record of the conversation. Nothing else is done with it.
If you join the newsletter, we hold your email address and your first name until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the footer of any email we send.
If you buy from one of our Etsy shops, Etsy handles the order and the payment, and Etsy is the one holding your payment details. We never see a card number. We see what any seller sees: the name, the shipping address and the order. Etsy's own privacy policy governs that part, and it is published at etsy.com.
We do not run advertising trackers, build profiles on visitors, or buy or sell personal data.
We publish our own product pins to our own Pinterest accounts using Pinterest's official API. It is worth being precise about what that software does, because the word "integration" can suggest more than is happening here.
The application acts on our own Pinterest accounts and nobody else's. It signs in as us, creates pins on our own boards, and reads back our own boards, our own pins and our own account analytics so we can tell whether a pin worked.
It does not read, store, or process any other Pinterest user's boards, pins, profile or activity. It has no users other than us, no sign in for anybody else, and it collects nothing from the people who see our pins. The access token it holds is stored on our own machine, readable only by the account that owns it, and it is used for nothing except posting and reading our own pins.
If we ever change that, this section changes first.
Email correspondence is kept while it is useful and then deleted. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept as long as tax and bookkeeping rules require.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will do it.
